krose Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 I am using the 618-3 BIOS and noticed that when I set the Read Preamble in the memory timings, A64 tweaker reads it 0.5 ns higher, e.g., 5.5 in BIOS is 6.0 in A64 tweaker. All the other readings are correct. I also tried the -1 and -2 variants and the read preamble settings are correct in A64 tweaker. Can anyone else verify this? Thanks. Guest eva2000 Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 believe that's what NORMAL is meant to do, read AG's explanation of ddram response time it affects max async and premable settings
krose Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 But it doesn't do it with the -1 and -2 BIOSes. And I thought that the response time setting only affected the read preamble and max asynch settings when they are on Auto? It's no big deal to me, it's just something I noticed.
