txmale36 Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 i would get a new psu just to be on the safe side.since you have an sli board i would go with at least 550watts and a sli certified power supply.

Sharp Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 Hello, The Raidmax PSU is stating continuous current values, unlike most PSUs The 13a is 18a peak. You are referring to the Raidmax 420W PSU? Also are you using a 24pin converter? When you get the second video card you will need a better PSU.
CrowbarHL2 Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 try to get a good PSU like this one: Enermax NoiseTaker 600W p/s (EG701AX-VE-SFMA), specs: 34A @ 3.3V, 34A @ +5V, 18A @ +12V1, 18A @ +12V2, .8A @ -12V, 2.5A @ +5Vsb, 35A @ +12V TOTAL. I took thsese right of my PSU, it's ATX 2.0, SL-I certified, 3year warranty, and it has plenty of juice I paid $150.00 for it, you may find others cheaper out there, but remember that you get what you pay for.
