3yeNerd Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 some noob questions here ... I have the Antec Super Lanboy case and was wondering if anyone had one and can help with the cable connections? 1) I found (I think) the right connections for all the front led/power sw connections except for one .. the yellow one labelled "LED" does that go in a different spot below the last PCI slot? if so, exactly where because there are more that 2 pins and I don't see it labelled in the manual 2) front audio bundle - these all connect to the Karajan audio module? Is there anywhere else to connect, because it is stretching all the way across and can only be connected by the single split up pins .. also, not all the labels match up.. I assumed the RET-L and RET-R are for Line out left and right. and the FPout-L and R match up with Line out_Left_Front and right_front? Also the Mic I matched with Mic_Right and the Mic_BIAS I just put in the Mic_left pin .. Thanks, hope that makes some sense and one of you can tell me if I put these in right! -Mike

red930 Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 When you use the front panel hookup, you take the Audio out side of the module and it goes to the front panel. The return lines bring the audio back to the rear output. This allows the audio to go to the front panel then back to the rear output. When you plug a headphone into the front jack it keeps the audio from going to the speakers. Pretty cool huh! Use the search function since there is an entire thread dedicated to the SuperLanBoy and the front panel connections. I think they talk about a way to extend the connections so you can route the cable a lot nicer.
bolshevik Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 I just thought that the yellow LED connector on my Lanboy was another power LED light in case you don't like the typically green one. Maybe it's supposed to go somewhere but I don't really care.
red930 Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 The two LEDs are provided in case you have the need. You can use it with another hard drive controller or some motherboards have a second LED to indicate standby mode.
3yeNerd Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Cool thanks I'm going to look for that thread .. not sure if I got them matched up right! and by outside module I'm assuming you mean the pins located right beside the CD-in pinset on that module? Well at least I'm not worried about that extra LED cable! Thanks guys!
