dopke Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I just got the vantec nxp-305 Fan Controller (which is awesome since it can turn down fans all the way off), and in the instructions it says that the fan controller shouldnt be used for fans that are thermally controlled or heat controlled or something like that. I was wondering if I could use the fan controller on the chipset fan cause it is making too much noise.
Sharp Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Hello, Yes you can. Also if you use the ITE smartguardian software you can control the CPU/Chipset/PWM fan headers on the motherboard.
