xms Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Hi guys, Couldnt see a thread in this section about this, so i thought i better let you all know. I've flashed with it, and it looks good so far (it hasn't hindered my overclock at all). xms Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Right, Well first i tried with 6/18-3 which didnt want to clock as high as the old 3/10p bios, so i gave the 6/18-1 a go and it seems to be a lot more stable. Quick specs: NF4 SLI-D San Diego @ 3.0/3.1ghz (310x10) 1gb OCZ PC4800 Platinum

uwackme Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 So far so good on SLI-DR, 250Mhz x11 2x512M Twinmos TMII UTT-CH sticks, totally stable @ 3.2Vdimm.....seems to have improved by lower Vdimm requirement. Lots of testing to do, esp coldboot related sticks.
soundx98 Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 @HoUnD - Throw it over here. Better not hear any whining from you at 288x10. @ExRoadie - love the Cuervo. Problem is I wind up startin' fights and get the sheet kicked out of me. Wind up looking like cpuz's avatar. @uwackme - nice work, keep us posted on the testing. we know how thorough you are. I haven't had a single cold boot on the 6/18-2 and I been booting between the OSes like crazy
pharmd24 Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 uwackme - What bios are you running 1-2-3 ?
jacko Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Much more stable at stock than 310 or 510 for me and my craptastic RAM. No more cold boot issues, windows freezes or BSOD's! Will start tweaking tomorrow... Great work guys!
Guest eva2000 Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 618-2 is looking good for my original BH-5 ram on 3000+ venice! on 510-2 2x 512MB Kingston KHX3200/512 BH-5 ram in orange slots at 260mhz 2-2-2-6 needed 3.51v vdimm and Interleave disabled to even get pass test 1-3 error free, but still errored once in test #7 now on 618-2, 2x 512MB KHX3200/512 BH-5 same orange slots at 260mhz 2-2-2-6 did a full error free run at 3.41v vdimm with Interleave enabled more testing of course and to think on P4 intel platform KHX3200/512 double sided ram was my worst BH-5 for P4 hehe
