RGone Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AS THEY ARE BETA=TEST BIOS! Ok you guys wanting to know a bios for TCCD and higher Latency type memory and a bios for the BH-5 and lower latency memory> well here they are in beta from the beta DFI download side of the site. Just up and they are packaged with the awdflasher and the dot bin file only and not diamond image flash> so you need to know how to flash to use them. This is beta for those that know how and what to do. I just used Winflash 1.76 to flash the T1.bin for TCCD and higher Latencies onto my SLI board and had one case of stopped boot at 2 LEDS ( oh fun ), but a CMOS clear and here I am typing away. TOP TWO BIOSES ON THE PAGE...READ WHAT THEY ARE FOR... http://www.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/bio..._FLAG=B&SITE=US AGAIN: THESE ARE BETA BIOSES=TEST BIOS!!! YOUR RISK... Have fun. RGone...to test out the T1.bin...

MadChicago Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 If I am currently using the 6/18-3 Beta BIOS without issues, at least non so far as I can tell, am I ok to stick with the 6/18-3? Should I flash up to the 6/23-3 since it is an official BETA release? My mem is the TCCD Corsair dimms, so I am thinking this is going to be to my benefit to flash to the newer 6/23, based on your notes. Thank you! Guest obvious Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11754 Thanks. I'd already read that. I'm not asking if it's a good bios or the best bios just whether it is compatible with my board bearing in mind that the page on which it is linked says that it's for a different board. I've read that all the DFI NF4 bios's are interchangeable but would like to hear it confirmed.
