pete424 Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Can someone tell me where to find my "multiplier"?
hacknack Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Are you asking what the default multiplier for your CPU is? If you are then I would also like to know the one for a 3200+ (200x10, right?)
pete424 Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 yes that is what I need to know
Angry_Games Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Athlon64 4000+ = 12x multiplier (200x12 @ 2400Mhz) FSB Bus Frequency
hacknack Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 So in theory, my computer should start alright if I put the multiplier manually at 10x (and leave the FSB at 200)?
soundx98 Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Yes it should. PSU -- A-TOP KY-600ATX 500W (20pin) [ordered OCZ ModStream 520W] but if you are having issues I would be willing to bet it will be resolved when new PSU arrives. pete424 Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Angry, thank you. I flashed my bios to the the latest one on the DFI page and I went in to load the values in the guide put together by Rgone. The above bios picture is where I had a problem. When I click enter in the DRAM config it takes me to a page that starts with the Dram Frequency. The next item down is not the CPC entry in the guide but something entirely differant. At that point I ws lost.

Amazingly enough, I have no problems with my PSU, no problems yet that is. The problem in my earlier thread (games freezing, etc) was all due to the misconfigured "value" RAM I had in. What doesn't help is the fact I had 4 sticks of it. Yeah, good thing the Partiot RAM rocks!

pete424 Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 So I just skip that option to enable CPC and the second one listed will correspond to a3 on the guide?

pete424 Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 I flashed the 06-15-2005 BIOS and the CPC option is back. Thanks again for all your help.
