TheFlowerKing Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Even with TCCD I needed a fan blowing on them to reach 300MHz @ 2.5-4-3-7. Without it, couldn't get past 285, then I put a spare 120mm on them and voila..
OldGuy Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 What did you use to mount the heatsinks? Thermal adhesive of some sort?
bolshevik Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Does anyone know how much cfm the AMD stock cpu fan pushes? I was wondering because I currently have the Thermalright fan from my XP-90 retail package rigged up to cool my RAM. It pushes around 44cfm but it doesn't fit too well between my XP-90 and my PSU. Guest Dangermouse Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 OK, I've got the pics, but nowhere to post them. Can someone help me out? I'm at work now, and they block most sites for file sharing, but if somone can post for me I can e-mail them.
HoUnD Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 Look at the link in my sig =) 2x80mm fans. No mounting necessary as it fit snug in between my xp90 and PSU at the perfect angle.
Votey Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 System Specs: *DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D (5/10-2 BIOS)* ... *AMD Athlon Winchester 3000+* ... *CPU 10x Multiplier* ... Hey Dange, Sorry to take your thread off-topic, but I must know... I'm probably just too lazy or dim to realize what I'm missing here, but how do you have a 10x CPU multiplier on your 3000+ Winchester? Aren't they capped at 9x? Thanks.
