RahulM Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 I got a new Sennheiser PC150 headset, and noticed that the mic isn't working as well as it should. I thought perhaps it is the drivers I installed. My audio driver came from the unified nforce4 drivers, but I noticed Realtek drivers for my mobo on DFI's site, which should I install? EDIT: Hmm... seems like I DO have the realtek codecs installed...
Prostock62 Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Either will do.I read that some are using the realtec drivers with better results than the Dfi or nvidia drivers.
red930 Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 The nVidia audio drivers allow for full function of the audio chipset. Plus you get the NV Mixer and Speaker Wizard.

chris.y2k.r1 Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 I peronally love the NF2 Nvidia drivers... Yeah, I know.. that doesn't help
Sharp Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Hello, I tried the new Realtek drivers, still the same. (I dont like them). Less bass, more treble. In games without surround sound support, CS 1.6, the bass speaker does not play anything. I had to turn my sub volume all the way up to hear something. With midi files the center does not play and the bass is extremely low too.
