Problem with network adapter

Recommended Posts

Dear DFI readers,

One month ago i bought new computer (look at sig for specs), i had few problems but i fixed by flashing BIOS with newest BIOS ver. But one problem still remains.

Before flashing BIOS i could not see my network cart in Device manager, after flashing I can see "NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller" but with new device comes new error "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)".

There are few problems, like sharing/conflicts with IRQ & I/0 but i prefer to put screenshots because every picture says 1000 words. :)

Anyway,I'm in doubt to sent it back to service or perhaps there is way to fix it.

I really need that device...

Ok, so are connecting to the internet via usb right? So you are not using Nvidia ethernet connection. Are you having any issue's accessing the network? Go ahead and uninstall the network drivers and try a reinstall.

When you disconnect your usb network adapter, what does device mgr look like?

Uninstall your forceware drivers, then run Driver Cleaner Pro and remove any left over files. re-install your Nvidia Drivers with the latest ones from Nvidia's site. and see what happens...

Or Disable the NVLan completely and use the Marvell Yukon instead... (solves a lot of issues that does)
