boost Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 i just got this off a guy at XS http://xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=63419 great PSU, but its ESP 12v rating native 24 pin, i think before i bought it i read a spec sheet or two and thought it was 20pin from what they said, but yea... im going to be using it on a DFI Lanparty UT 250GB nf3 board which uses a 20pin ATX connection i was wondering if this psu would be fine on that with the extra 4 pins hanging over here is some specs ive found on it http://www.directron.com/fsp46060pfn.html http://www.fsp-group.com.tw/english/02_pro...ctorname=EPS12V http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetai...ate=streetprice yea i know, ask first buy later, but it was going fast, great deal, and i need a new PSU b/c this one has crap amperage on the 12v rail... davidhammock200 Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 It is a good PSU & will power your system & 24 to 20 adaptors are cheap (if you even need one), but for $79 you can get its big brother the EPS 550W & you would be all set for N4 mobos & SLI. cpuz Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Also, consider future planning with your purchase. If you think it is a possibility that you may move to NF4, then choose a good 24 pin psu, like from OCZ.
