Man Called (E) Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 How to resolve the coldboot= Flash your bios, shutdown system, clear Cmos, turn around 4 times in your chair, blow on your ram 2 times, take your ram out for two days, put it back in,snap your fingers while singing "all I need is a miracle",and push power(but make sure your still singing)and BAM,you should have power!!! If not shutdown system for 72 hours and try again. I purchased the DFI NF3 a week ago,and have had nothing but problems as well This is the pickiest board I have ever used. It seems if you do anything that the board doesnt like,it will start doing strange things. It really takes the fun out of Overclocking, when you can't even get your system stable at stock settings. I flashed to the 10/15 bios, and now I only have coldboots about 75% of the time, small victory when considering with the new bios releases I was getting coldboots 95% of the time. No more DFI boards for me. Sorry about your problem, its hard to save a drowning person, when I'm barely treading water myself.
