Angry_Games Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 you probably dont have any software that can see RAW files for what they are. install your camera's software to the machine, or use a program like Photoshop, or find a free program on google about RAW to JPEG or such... fartonmyear Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 i've installed all the drivers, all the poopy programs that came with it. yes, canon's photo editing program can open raw files, but i'd rather use photoshop cs2. adobe released a new raw pluging for the rebel xt, see link, but that still doesn't let me see raw files. they physically aren't shown in explorer. http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=2931
red930 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 In most cases, that is attributed to the folder settings (My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options - > View -> Show Hidden and System Files). Please be careful once you enable this setting. Many a time I have had to help people get their systems back up and running because of an accidental deletion of a critical system file lol.
