Corsair Ram

Recommended Posts

I have Corsair Xpert Ram and for the life of me I cant get it stable at 2-2-2-5 200mhz.......I realize the mobo and ram might just not get along which is fine but can anybody offer some suggestions as to some settings to try to get this stuff to run @ 2-2-2-5??

You might want to spend some time in memtest and see how far you can push your memory using a little voltage and playing with drive strength to make sure you can really run it at those timings...

Take a look at the A64 overclocking sticky to help figure out how to push your ram to it's limits so you know what its capable of. Doesn't always mean it'll function in windows same as it does in memtest but at least you'll have a better idea of it's capabilities and have a point to start from...

this is assuming your on 5/10, dram response time normal, max async 7 or 8, read preamble 5 or 5.5, (top to bottom): 2-2-6-2-7/9-16, 2-2/3-2/1-3/2, tREF 3072/3120. hope that helps:)

no luck @ 2-2-2-5.....man whats with this stuff?? ran 2-2-2-5 fine on my P4 platform;)

it is the rev1.1....the rev1.2 is on Brainpower think that would increase my chances of running stable at the "advertised" speeds/timings?????
