Angry_Games Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 there is no 'bona-fide safe value' most of us will tell you with a 90nm cpu, you should avoid higher than 1.65v with air cooling, 1.7v with water, and who-cares-if-since-you-have-subzero-cooling lol with a venice 90nm, you should only need extreme (1.65v) voltages if you are doing EXTREME overclocks...but you will have to find for yourself what your best settings are. Guest Iceman Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 oh man, i've been working on this for a week, my ram can run 255fsb pass 10 hour mem test plus 2hour test #5 My cpu passed 260x10=2600ghz in super pi 32m but when i try to run them together, won't past any test not even at 2,5 ghz my teps are way cool,so that is not a problem. I know my vx mem is guaranteed to run 250fsb and i know my cpu can do 2,5 gig i changed so many things, instaled xp like 5 times already i think i will rma the cpu on monday! ( i had a lill problem a few days ago with the cpu when i went to take the HS off the as5 stock so strongly to the cpu i acidentaly pulled it out and bent the pins hope this is not the cause of my problem) Can you recomend anything to do? thx
