Angry_Games Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 tho some will say otherwise, I have found that CAS3 is just not a good option for the NF2. doesnt mean your memory wont work...but ive got a few CAS3 modules that never allowed my NF2 setups to work very well... charlie22911 Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 ive thought about that myself, and seen you guys say it a lot, but my kingmax does the exact same thing even though its cas 2.5. im going to spend on some cas2 pc3400 later and dump the value crap. my chipset seems willing to git a minimum of 240Mhz with my kingmax, max i could get on my kingston is 216. ive also heard (mainly quotes from you) that the gain from runing dual channel is nil. i usualy run 166Mhz 1:1 at 2.5-3-3-7 as the SPD says i should, with some volts i can run around 2-2-2-7 but its flaky. info ive got so far is on this site: http://www.promos.com.tw/website/eng/produ...ata.jsp?grup=g1 data sheet here: http://www.promos.com.tw/website/html/engl...8C2256804SA.pdf according to the data sheet it should run at 200Mhz with 2.5-2-2 timings. no luck identifying the kingmax yet.
