Blue Error screen

Recommended Posts

Hello. I'm running windows XP pro, on a DFI UT nF4 Ultra-D and even at stock speeds my computer will sometimes either restart or give me a blue screen with a windows error, something like STOP 0x0000005, and says memory dump is complete.

Any one had this happen? Or any idea whats causing it?

Thanks

EDIT-

Did you Install the Nvidia IDE SW driver, when installing the nvidia drivers(if you have a nf board)?

A lot of people have crashes involved with that driver. I had problems until I removed it.

Yes I installed all the drivers that came with the board. How do I get rid of it?
