krusteeshdw Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 I benchmarked HL2 with the normal/fast modes with 5/10-2 bios. Thank you Corsair!!! See if we can get this confirmed by some other people...

Vista Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 And when is Final Bios? When the fat lady sings, you know your board is dead. I figure we are ages away from the Last Starfighter BIOS for this mobo.
Vegetarianator Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 I've just flashed to 510-2 and using Mucker's settings, with a small increase in voltage (1.425 + 110%), have gone prime torture stable for 15min on : 2.5 @ 2.5-3-3-7 @ 1.52V I am also noticing Windows loading more quickly, and moves in and out of bios very quickly. It took me higher volts ( 1.65V) to get prime stable @ 2.5 on 310, so I'm pretty wrapped right now. Thanks for the hard work Oskar, and all the guys at DFI, and all the cohorts that may have been involved in this work. Very nice I can't wait to see if memtest stable, and then how far we can get. ***Note*** Using the new "normal" setting for my troublesome ram, so we'll have a look at what "fast" is doing. Tedy Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 so which one is for TWINMOS SPEED PREMIUM PC3500 BH-5 ?
exscape Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 It seems -2 is the one to use for UTT/BH-5, that's the impression I got anyway... Went ahead and flashed it, haven't noticed anything yet.

Guest SPQQKY Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 So there is a back and forth assumption here that -2 or -3 is for TCCD based RAM. Which one is it? I need to know to flash. I flashed to official 310, but it suxor for OCing my PDP, it seems the 331-3 was best for me, but still not great as I have taken my RAM much higher on other boards. I really need a good BIOS to help with my OCing. I will assume for now that the -3 is best for TCCD as was before with the 331 betas. krusteeshdw Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Spqqky, I have had some some unstability issues with 5/10-2. I think that 3 would be best. Although it is just a guess...
