Please help! Can't install Windows with San Diego & SLI-DR...

Recommended Posts

I've just received my San Diego 3700+ today,

My mems are Gskill pc4800FF in the orange slots,

My SLI-DR was bios 125,

I flashed it to 414-1 and everything was OK,

Then I started installing Windows on my test hard drive,

Just have 1 IDE Hard drive connected and 1 DVD-ROM,

Windows installation started and went good to the end of file copying,

After the first reboot, post screen OK and my screen turns black...

The rest of the installation don't continue...

Can somebody please help ?

Thanks,

Try to raise the Vddr (memory voltage) to 2.7 or 2.8 and retry...I've built 3 machines with an Ultra-D (3 different types of memory), none of them would install Windows on stock 2.6 Vddr.
