Guns4Hire Posted May 13, 2005 Posted May 13, 2005 I keep seeing this stuff with no explaination of what it means lol. I have no idea if my memory is utt/tccd etc. Ex-Roadie come on man give me some of your wit and info. Guns4Hire --------- "Now knowing that you should be able to take advantage of this feature for "however much" you find it worth. Yellow slots 1 and 3 are supposed better suited for HI voltage and therefore UTT/BH-5 types of memory. Orange slots 2 and 4 are supposed better suited for normal lower voltages and therefore TCCD/TCCC/TCC5 types of memory."

Lucky for you I have no life :shake: Ok, I used the search tool (above) with "OCZ EL DDR PC-5000 TCCD" and came up with this link : http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread...OCZ+DDR+PC-5000 In the second post it is said that your ram is TCCD. I cannot confirm but AndyOCZ could for sure, send him a pm. The search tool is your friend, say hello to him, hehe.

Thanks Guns4Hire Hi, you have TCCD chips on the PC5000. These are Samsung chips. You will get differing opinions on the BIOS , but here is mine: Any -3 BIOS version will be the easiest to set up with TCCD. The -2 version has tested very well with TCCD and UTT (Winbond chips), but must be tweaked a bit more. Angry says this one is the best overall. If you have more questions just post and I will help. magg Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Is that true that BH/CH/UTT should be in slots 1 & 3? I have TCCD [XBL] so it doesn't really matter that much ATM, I was just wondering, in case I pick some up soon. Or if I somehow manage to win giveaway #3  :nudge nudge Andy:
