Aurhinius Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Note - I found that enabling dynamic idle counter actually cost me about 50 points in sandra which is a fair bandwidth hit. Complete opposite to what is written here.
Opponent Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Excellent job johnrr6! Your time and effort to put that stuff together is very much appreciated
johnrr6 Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Note - I found that enabling dynamic idle counter actually cost me about 50 points in sandra which is a fair bandwidth hit. Complete opposite to what is written here. Interesting------Because I got the complete opposite results with my BH-5. Might be the timings differences between yours and mine as well. That's why I put the BIG Caveat at the beginning of the guide..... Everbody's equipment is different. Did you run Sandra 3 times and reboot in between to get an average??? On occassions------I have seen Sandra jump 50 points between runs with no changes in any settings. I'll recheck mine to make sure.... Once you get back to me, I will add the info into the guide if it is OK with you. Thanks for the catch..... John
johnrr6 Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 thanks, there's the html version up now too.i hope it helps ppl. Would you mind if I edited the Guide and added a link within it to link directly to your chart?? I agree----it is very handy and would be helpful in setting up different settings in "CMOS Reloaded" as well. John
Aurhinius Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Tried it again and same results between 50-80 points lost. It seems to hit int buffer worse than float. Strange.

Thanks----Some time today or tomorrow----I will add that to the guide concerning TCCD I'll also check it again on my side to make sure my initial results were correct........
