because Kingmax is a low-end brand and these boards were never designed to run with low-end brands...they were designed from the first initial ideas all the way through production to use only hte best high-performance memory

 

doesn't mean low-end ram wont work, nor does it mean that some low-end ram won't perform very well

 

I know that, I was just kidding :nod: , but, after solving my problem with dual channel, I'm pretty satisfied with the stability of the Kingmax at stock timings, I know that I cannot OC' it too much :P , but for the moment and for my needs it's a good cheap RAM :D

Okay I can post here now that I have my RAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

G.SKILL in SIG, OCed right out of the package to 2.6Ghz stable in WIN, hit 2.9 but crashed 3 seconds later :-( with everyhting else stock, will work on it more this weekend. Wish me luck.

I got 4X512 of Mushkins Redline...the Original which in my opinion is so much better than the new stuff....Taking up to 3.5v...Its soooo nice and OC's well also with active cooling I think this was the best RAM to date...but then again if it was sooo good why did they stop making it?

probly could not get thr chips anymore Or the price it was costing over powered the resale
