DFI Recommended Power Supplies (UPDATED October 20th, 2006!)

Recommended Posts

I'm using a Thermalrock (read Thermaltake) PPV 450W.

Pic with the Amperages:

Picture.

As I'm not thinking of SLI (not much of a gamer), will this be enough for OC'ing Powering a Winnie 3000+ & GeForce 6600GT PCI-EX?

It doesn't meet the DFI N4 min requirements of 24-pin ATX & 480W's or more.

See post #1 in this thread for details: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10854

16 Amps on the 12V is low for anything built w. a DFI nF4... So if it isn't a 24 pin I wouldn't even connect it. If it is Id might but whatever u do dont use a 20-24 pin adapter... U will probably need a new PSU.

In addition to 24-pin ATX & 480W+,

I strongly recommend a min of +12V@24A for non-SLI & +12V@30A or more for SLI.

And this from a "known-good" source like PC P&C, OCZ, Antec, Enermax or Fortron.

I suggest setting a fan to blow on the RAM.

CONGRATS on the Enermax!
