tweak50 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 here are some of my favorite movies right now... Boondock Saints The Prestige The Fountain Crank - Good guy movie, drugs killing and lots of naked women all rolled into one over the top movie
red930 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I wasn't a big fan of Crank....especially the ridiculously cheesy ending. To each his own though. I just saw Pan's Labyrinth over the weekend, it's in Spanish but was quite good, though definitely a little weird and some parts really creepy and extremely violent. Interesting movie if you want something different, it's up for a lot of awards if that means anything... http://www.panslabyrinth.com/
tweak50 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I wasn't a big fan of Crank....especially the ridiculously cheesy ending. To each his own though. The only reason I liked it was because of how over the top and ridiculous it was lol.
Kingfisher Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Some of my favorites include: Blade I & II, trinity was annoying to watch. Alien - very scary Halloween- I first saw this when it came out, was scared to death. The Exorcist - hilarious! Any Clint Eastwood westerns(Fistful of Dollars is best of them) Rio Bravo- I love John Wayne flicks. Sherlock Holmes -episodes with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. Sleepy Hollow- Johnny Depp is great in this one. Van Helsing-Hugh! X-Men I & II - Storm is so hott. Underworld- Kate Beckinsale as a vampire, what more can I say? CaddyShack- Rodney and Ted are hilarious. Airplane I & II - I still laugh at the same stupid jokes over and over. Evil Dead I & II & AOD - Bruce Campbell should have won an oscar! Vanilla Sky - Emotional, twisted but hey, I love it! Crimson Tide - One of those movies I watch over and over and over.

kitfit1 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Some of my all time faves are: Get Carter:the origional with Michael Cain, some of the best jazz ever in a movie. Straw Dogs:Susan George was georgeous. The Hunt For Red October:even watching it over again, i can't leave the room. Four Weddings and a Funeral:a good laugh and i usually end up drunk by the end. Airplane:what can i say, and don't call me shirley. Ryan's Daughter:deep, dark and a good laugh in lots of places.
ReelFiles Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Definitely laughed a lot during Beerfest (sheit, that's my heritage, lol), but not as much as in Idiocracy.
ooztuncer Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 watched the 'cowards bend the knee' last night: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0346800/ even tough I didn't like it too much I think it was a very good shot movie with psychological factors in the plot... recommended if you like watching out of ordinary movies.
