Guest Booger Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Got her up and running a few hours ago....once I put the memory where it was supposed to go. Boot screen shows "sli" string as well. Ooops Exroadie, I used the sysprep procedure with about 97% success. My drives ended up being mapped differently but that was pretty easy to fix. Great info and so far things are behaving normally. Am running everything bone stock for a couple days just to get the feel of it. Shipped with 1/25 bios. You guys think I should flash it up to 3/10 for my TCCD or hold off for now? Just need a pcie vid card now and then we can start crankin'. Thanks for all the info people...wanted to share my success on the forum. red930 Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Since the rig is stable, I would boot with one stick of RAM and flash the BIOS to at least 3/10. Make sure you follow the flash procedure from the stickies at the top of the forum. Good job and good luck.
magg Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I'd flash the 3/10 as well.. I did it immediately following my setup on my rig, helped my TCCD work wonders. I'm using 3/10p, but I've heard that 4/14-1 and 4/14-3 are pretty good for TCCD as well [have the newer Memtest in them too, 3/10 has 1.51, 4/14 has 1.55]
