Maximum 3400+ Mobile VCore on WaterCooling ?

Recommended Posts

How much is safe anyway for regular use (not just benchies)? My Water-Cooling system is: Asetek Antarctica GPU Block, Black Ice Pro 120mm radiator, L30 Hydor Pump 1200L/H.

Currently I am running at 2667 (267:10) 1:1 memory at 1.475 x 123% = 1.81V VCore, everything is Prime stable and FULL Load temp is 38-39 Centigrade. The CPU seems to be OK, except for VCore witch is kind of high….should I back it off a little, or can I leave it like that?

Another thing concerns me: PWMIC temp is very high: 63 Centigrade. I’ve read the PWIMC chip can handle up to 100 Centigrade, but is 63 OK in the long run?

damn, regardless of water cooling or not, that voltage is gonna hurt the cpu eventually...iv OC'd a number of winnies....and if possible, i wouldnt go much about 1.7....often times...you end up increasing voltages a LOT to gain only a meager increase in mghz...id back down on voltage a little...see if you lose much perf....or you might not have the A64 for long!

note: not sure what max voltages work for these mobiles....but it couldnt be that different...
