Watercolling or Ram?

Hello Fellas,

This is my first post on this forum and id just like to say hi to everyone. I recently bought a DFI LanParty SLI-DR w/ a A64 3200 Winni. I used to run a P4 2.8 pressy oced to 3.3, but wanted to join the A64's and their amazing gaming performance. Any way, I bought a Swiftech H20 Rev. 3 for my Pressy because it was blistering hot. I had a Zalman 7000 Cu on it but that wasent cutting it. I bought the Water system and never installed it on my Pressy because i got the A64 faster than i thought i was going to :) . My A64 runs temps at 26/35 going 2.3 Ghz, a LOT cooler then the Pressy. My question is, since these Winnies seem to keep so cool, should i sell the Watercooling system and upgrade with some faster, lower latency Memory, or just use the system. I also have a MSI 6800 gt that i was gonna run in the Water system, but if i decide not to use the system, i would probably rock the Artic Cooler. I know thats a lot to take in but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Running Value Corsair 3200 at 2.5 @2.7 Volts (running at 230 FSB)

Thanks fellas, GriFFen :)

I know the ram i have now is definitely limiting me. The HS i have now seems to be working great though, Zalman CU7000 is pretty quite and gets the job done. Thanks ][nSaNe any other comments?

That Antec 380w PSU might be limiting you as well. Way under spec for this board unless you are going for dead-silent, no fans, minimal GFX, passive cooling, etc.

Thanks for posting your specs! Every bit of data helps. Most people hate that Corsair stuff on this board.

Yea, i figured the PSU was limiting too. This DFI board and GFX card really sucks up power. Looks like im gonna go for the OCZ PC4000, lots of good things said about it. Any suggestions for a good power supply? Something not to expensive and has a 120 fan?

Thanks Fellas :)
