Some0ne_DK Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 HI All I would like some advice with my OC... when ever i go over 250 FSB i cant get a stabel system... with 240 FSB it runs perfekt... and can go prime95 for 2h with any problems. My current bios config is : Overclok Advance Bios Features APIC mode Enabled (what is that) MPS version control for OS 1.4 (1.1 what is the diff) Advance Chipset Features Dram timing Selectable By Spd ( 4-4-4-12) SLP_S4# Assertion Width 4 to 5 sec System Bios Cacheable Enabled Video Bios Cacheable Disable Dram Data integrity mode Non-ECC Performance mode Normal (disable-normal-turbo-ultra-extrame) Integrated Peripherals On bord Device Onboard PCI-E LAN Enabel Genie Bios Setting FSB 240 PCI-E FQ Auto N/B Strap cpu as by cpu (FSB800) Minimize FMB15 COU Ratio Disabel Dram type Auto (DDR400/DDR553) CPU Volt 1.3875v Dram V 1,8v Nb 1,5v 1,6v Auto Detect PCI Clk Enabled Spread Spectrum Disable I read this thread http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread...&highlight=925x but i dosent help me out What do i do wrong ? saperboy Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 If you want to OC to 250FSB, you'll have to change the PCIe freq from AUTO to 115MHZ. But if you want to OC to more than 250FSB (i.e. 289FSB ) then you'll have to remove your PCIe graphics card get a PCI graphics card and then set your PCIe freq to AUTO.
