Other than that it ran great. I put it back together same as before. Now I'm getting 1 long beep. No video. Tried 4 kinds of memory in switched slots. DFI nF3 250GB 6400+ Clawhammer 6800 GT 256MB 600 watt Utra PSU Tried Geil, OZC, Muskin and Pqi memory PC3200 512 or better. Thanks for any help. okami Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Have you tried a different vid card? Have to say too, the mem controller is on the CPU; a 6400+ Clawhammer may not be all it says it is
Tropikal Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 I m gona go with okami here and point at the video card ... try taking it out, booting ( not gona boot but u ll hear the beep), turn it off, put card back in, boot.. see what happens.. I dont remember correctly but the one long beep might be "no video card detected" dont quote me on that..

Judaeus Apella Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Wait a minute, I made another post similar to this! I'm using a PNY Verto Geforce 128MB. Depending on the many combinations of switching the memory around, using either 1 or 2 sticks, the system either runs with or without that long beep. In either case of beeping or not, I have no video signal. I could really use some help with this!
