KingYubbo Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I've got this Topower Phantom PSU 370watt and it's got a 24-pin connector, but i don't know if it's one of those that can fit on a DFI Ultra-D. I've been using an adapter from 24-20-pin on my XP 2600+. There are no numbers or specs that i can see for it, plus I can't find it on the net. It just says Phantom like on this pic:
red930 Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Considering that DFI recommends a 480W PSU I wouldn't bother putting that PSU on a nF4 rig. KingYubbo Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 480watts..... ohh..... so will this work at all? or it'll just fail. The board can't possibly use that much power can it?
Vegetarianator Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 480watts..... ohh..... so will this work at all? or it'll just fail. The board can't possibly use that much power can it? King Yubbo, why don't you try it and be another "my pc's not stable thread " LOL Anyway, it probably WILL run, but it will probably be unstable when you try to overclock it, or at times of peak power usage, right? My current 350W is running stock just fine, but overclocks are wildly fluctuating, which is why I'm getting a psu with a nice strong 12V rail. Or two, hehe. KingYubbo Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Ahhh i see. Well it's either the Antec Neopower 480W or the Tagan 480watt for me. Probably the later.
