NFII UltraB: Bios puts IDE b4 SATA. MBR problems

Recommended Posts

Solved: I simply moved my boot partition to the ide drive (if you cant beet'em join'em). Now i can boot linux and windows (off mbr or in birtual machine) and most importantly grub works fine,

Since I happen to use an OS other than Windows, it creates some problems with me that the BIOS puts the SATA drives after the IDE drives (numerically), since as a result, bootloaders and OSs look for the MBR on the frist drive and I want it on my SATA drive.
