nforce RAID on sli dr

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

whenever i attempt to install windows using the nforce raid controller, I get blue screened just as windows is about to ask for the EULA when you press F8.

I've changed hard drives, cables, powerconnectors with no change. The Silicon Image controller works fine. I can however make a raid set in windows with the hard drives attached to any of the sata ports 1,2,3 or 4.

I can't create a raid set(nforce chip) to use as a data partition either. I still get blue screened....and.... BIOS always wants to boot into the nforce raid set.

Any suggestions !!!!!!!

Cheers

By the way, this text comes up on the bluescreen....

Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated, and then restart your computer.
