Scratchin' Ball Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 what other problems are you having? Anyone know if Sandra reports incorrectly?
toddipoo Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 I just came on here to see if anyone else was having this same problem. My bios is set to AGP8x but under windows it says im only running 4x. Im pretty sure this is why my games are a bit laggy compared to my older much slower setup -toddi
SaFrOuT Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 run other prg and check if they also list it @ 4x or 8x like everest , cpu-z

toddipoo Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 Great news... I finnaly learned to use everest... and guess what? my AGP 8x is running at 4x... Below where it tells me this it says. Problem AGP disabled could impair performance Any ideas? im going to keep screwing with stuff until I can get it right but this is really annoying -toddi

br1229 Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 I am having the same problem with my AGP being disabled. I've checked the BIOS settings to make sure it's enabled and it is as far as I can see. Both everest and cpu-z are showing the same problem. I've tried re-installing the drivers several times without any sucess. When I install the drivers that came with the MB, the computer won't even boot up. To all of you that had the same problem, what drivers did you install to fix this? Thanx, br1229 AMD 2800+ 64Bit DFI lanparty UT nf3 250GB Corsair VS 512MB PC3200 x2 MSI NX 6600GT AGP Antec 380W TP2.0 WindowsXP Pro SP2 BIOS 05/04/
toddipoo Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I have the most up to date bios... Do you? Try downloading it and then try reinstalling the drivers. -toddi
