cpuz Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 I think it is because it may be popular in Europe. Just like you have maybe never heard of the "Zippy" but it is a fine psu, as a matter of fact, supposed to be one of THE best. It is so reliable that it is primarily used in servers. DEFENDpeace Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 i've heard of zippy/emac PSU-s but you may be correct, it's probably because of Europe, but you must admit it's a nice PSU and not cheap! here it is about 180$
txmale36 Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 pc power and cooling is more expensive then that lol.

bwohl Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Yes, it's European...230 V only. From the Tom's review it looks like it only has a 20 pin connector. For $180 USD we could do alot better. By better I mean tried and tested and stable on the NF4. Yea, I gots a 24 pin 450 Watter, but it was only $60 USD. And I'm running stock right now. Been buying me about one VERY nice component a month. Give me 5 more months and let the overclocking begin.
red930 Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Been buying me about one VERY nice component a month. Give me 5 more months and let the overclocking begin. That works too. I like to save up and buy a new rig all at once. Of course, I always have at least one other rig running at the same time. It helps when you need advice, guidance or to download a driver. bwohl Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 Still have my 865 PE LP board with a 2.8 800 Mhz CPU. (My first LP board so it has sentimental value have since sold the other LP I built 875, NF3) PS....I take u name your PCs with female names? LOL I take the looks route = purple pc I built is "Grimous", LP 865 is "Smoker" Yellow case and my new yellow NF4 is "Bumble" Here's to the future!!!! CHEERS! red930 Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 PS....I take u name your PCs with female names? LOL But only female serial killers. Aileen is the nasty old hooker from the movie Monster and Lydia is the original Black Widow from the 1870's I think it's apropriate since they can both suck the life out of you if you're not careful.
