creager Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 (edited) ok, in bf i have noticed a problem where every 3 or 4 seconds i get a little stutter. it is not a lag problem since i get 13-30 and its in EA servers. when i first got my 9700pro i had had a 9000 powercolor and i never formatted or anything, just uninstalled drivers, put in card, installed drivers for 9700pro. i had a score of 11447 and the link is http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6589492 . i just wanted to see what i would get now, a month or so later, and i got 9260 at http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6655581 . it seemed that on 13 and 15 i was getting the same stutter problem, or it was 12 and 14 i forget which. i havent done any modding, and i think i have all my bios settings correct. i have tryed ocing my 2100+ but never saw much imporvment so i dont anymore, and it and everything else is at stock speeds. i havent updated my via 4 in 1 drivers for a while, mabe i should. my video card driver version is 6.14.10.6343 thanks EDIT: i got the bf1942 stutter fixed by installing the new 4 in 1 drivers. do you just exe them and not uninstall anything? but i still only got 9700(score). EDIT Dos: sorry about posting in the wrong section, i didnt scroll down far enough to see Hardware > Video. normally the top threads are the most common and than the bottom just is crap. mabe thats just at the forums i go to and not here...
