4PLaY Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I feel a little rotten to revive this post, but I'm yet again having some problems. I'm currently using the Vantec Copper chipset cooler. I loved it but the fan died, now I'm hearing alot of noise from the nf4 fanboys about the Evercool VC-RE and I'm planning to get one, now I wanna know if it's gonna clear my 9800pro with Jetart JACSH1. seen it mounted on the NF4 boards and it does look good. affebaffe Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 With my previous mobo (Lanparty UT NF3 250 GB) I used a Coolmaster Blue Ice(SLC-S41) on the NB and had no problems with that fan. 4PLaY Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 here's my current situation and that's a Jetart JACSH1 GPU cooler just above the nf3 chipset cooler so any thoughts. I'm really in love with VC-RE or VC-RF.

Prospector Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 On my rig I pulled the active cooler from a Soyo KT600 board I had layin around. It worked great till i put a 6800GT card in.Then i just pulled the fan off the cooler. It's a beefier cooler than the stock heatsink and iv'e had good results with the KT600 sink and AS5. Just wanted you to know someone has been quoting you. You say the evercool won't fit on the nf3 250Gb w/o serious modification, i believe you. I know. I ordered it before reserching it. I don't know where this guy got his info from.
