zom247 Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Just set up my system and flashed the BIOS to the latest one (3/10). However, every time I boot the system it goes back to the default settings. I then go back into BIOS and change them and the system starts fine. When I reboot again it starts again. I followed the flashing procedure and removed the battery etc but it's still happening. Can anyone help?
Geno Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 What's the voltage read out for the battery? Just to rule a dead battery out of the problem. I've heard of this problem before, i'm looking around for the solution.
zom247 Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 The battery voltage is 3.09v in BIOS. I have changed the battery though and the problem is still the same.
zom247 Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 I think I have solved the problem! One of the settings I changed after flashing was disabling the logo. I left it his this time and just changed the boot sequence and it booted straight away. I then went back and disabled the logo and it has now booted several times since then with no hitches. Weird??
