mikesm Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 I have a 1400W APC UPS that communicates with a RS232 port. My old system had one on the back of the motherboard, but my new Ultra-D only has the header on the motherboard, and no panel on the back to connect it to. Before I go out and buy an RS232 to USB adapter, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a panel (I'm not sure what the right name for this is) that would plug into the MB header to bring this port out the back? I understand who they don't want to waste space on the I/O header for this, but if you are going to stick it on the motherboard it might be nice to provide a panel to plug it in to. :-) Thanks, Mike
