(cf)eclipse Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 i had an idea that would make it much easier to deal with ram speeds in the bios. perhaps this should be in the overclocking section, but i think there will be a better response here. basically what i want is this: replace the 'ratio' in the bios for the ram speed with the actual memory divider. it would remove a lot of the abiguity and confusion about ram speeds, allow for greater control of what the ram runs at.. general good things like that. the only problem i forsee would be if it is even possible, or does the cpu select the divider based on the cpu multi and selected ratio instead of the bios calculating what it should be?
