PC Power and Cooling all the way.

They have been there for ever even though they have made mistakes once or twice they have been and always shall be the best at a price.

AND before any of you nay sayers open your mouth. Just open your brand of PSU and then a PC Power and Cooling unit and then say some thing.

Not really, unless the CPU needed more than +12V@18A,

as it would be very difficult for "the rest of the system" to pull more than +12V@18A..

cool and thanks Dave , so I thought since only 2amps difference on my rails it might not matter,

will a multimeter tell me iwhich cables are using the 20a 12v and which are on 18a rail or am i barking up the wrong tree here?

if not is it possible to tell?, how would i do it?

Guest Spartacus

Fortron Blue Storm (with internal POT added for 3.3v) :)

Very strong and quiet PSU. Under-rated going by many reviews.
