J Nice Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Hey everyone, here is what is happening: - All power connections made except for the fdd on the PCI Express region - 1 stick RAM either in slot 2 or 4 - vid card in slot 1 (also tried the other PCIx slot) Power up, all fans spin. The two yellow LED's are lit. Three orange LED's are lit on the bottom of the board. No video or beeps. Am I looking at a dead processor at this point? Any way to troubleshoot beyond this? e_lion_1 Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 hmm...one way to check your CPU is to try it in another board. Or maybe you can take it to a store (or a friend's) and get them to test it. Also, make sure that every power connection is attached. It seems to make a real difference. There might be something funny related to the RAM.
