I all ready have a CDRW so i dont need another one, not planning on a DVDrom right now because i already have a dvd player. Later im going to ad a network between this an another computer.  I really only play computer games and surk the net.

 

Case- Antec 300 watt ATX mid-tower case

Mobo- EPOX ED-8K7A+ (6 PCI 1 AGP 4 IDE 2-4 USB)

CPU- AMD Athlon XP 1800+/256 FSB

Video card- ATI Radeon 8500 LE 64 MB DDR

Sound Card- Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live 5.1

CDROM- Pinegroup 52X

Floppy- Sony 1.44MB 3.5 inch

Monitor- Either a Mag 17" or a Samtron 17" (depends what i can get at bestuy

 

Input devices- Keytronic E03601MSE-C PS/2 keyboard+ PS/2 scroll mouse

 

Memory- 256MB DDR PC2100 -unbuffered/-non-pority

Speakers- Creative Inspire 5.1 5300 speaker and subwoofer

OS- Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade (I have a win98 SE)

Case Mod 1- Digital Doc 5

 

 

Without monitor--860.37

With Mag 17"- 1019.37

I don't think you should get the radeon 8500 LE. The Geforce4 ti4200 coming out later this month is much better. It's even better than the regular Radeon 8500 128mb. It will be about $200. All the rest of your specs look pretty good.
