pswart Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Hi, I am trying to configure MBM 5 to shutdown automatically if a certain temp is reached - No luck. Any ideas? Thanks
soundx98 Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 It sounds like you used the MBM5 configuration wizard. All you need to do is install MBM5. STOP when it asks if you want to use Configuration waizzard and reboot. Then place the config file I posted into the MBM5 into the MBM5 you have install on your rig. Reboot and it sgould come up. There is no need to configure anything.

soundx98 Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Now I understand. shouldn't be a problem - it can email you too if the Alarm is activated/Or shuts down Go into dashboard-temperatures-Alarm functions. Bottom of page. I think there is some more exotic sheet as well. I'll look for it, don't want to hold you up

Go to settings - Tray & OSD - Select Enable Hot key under OSD settings Copy the following to OSD Script ~ C1SMhz ~ V1Vv T1Vc T2Vc ~ +V3Vv +V4Vv +V5Vv V6Vv V7Vv ~ MB MB % Cntrl+Alt+M to display On Screen for 3 secs. speedy11309 Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 ok im having those problems still with the overload error. im also having problems with the GPU and GPU ENV sensors, they always read 0. and on top of that my cpu fan speed sensor jumps around from like 5000 rpm to 25000 rpm. any suggestions on how to fix any of these? I take it that SHDN refers to shutdown?
soundx98 Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 @pswart - check your PM for link I sent last night. NVM it's here http://www.livewiredev.com/bbs/showthread.php?threadid=2764 also make sure you have everything enabled correctly in Alarm Options. Haven't used the function but this should get ya going. @speedy11309 - not exactly sure what you mean by overload. Try and capture a screenie of the ACtive Dialog error box for us. GPU Temps - Only ATI cards. The ATITool program allows the export of GPU + GPU Env temps into MBM5 on sensors 5 and 6 when selected. I do not know of a program that will allow us to do it with NV cards yet. CPU Fan Speed - Is it on a fan controller or using the board's built-in temp controller? What kind of fan is it and how if it plugged in? Do you have specifications that tell you what the RPM should be at full speed? The Fan Speed dividers in MBM5 can help correct inaccuracies. Even your Chipset fan looks low as most read around 7000RPM at Full Speed. Need more information.
unreal Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Wierd how your chipset at 7000, I dont know what mine used to - but I put AS5 on the core and it is always around 3700-4300 RPM.
