mxrider623 Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 A room temp of about 35 degrees C? uh isnt that around 100 degrees F? that doesn't seem right even when its 100 degrees outside where i live and i don't turn on the AC it never gets that hot. justinal Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 id try to fix the ac in the room first thats would probably get the temps down and keep you cool at night
Ximo Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 hahaha... i already called the coolling guy... and i live in Milan, Italy and its crapin hot ova here, especialy cuz i have a big window that gets sun the whole day and with the comp it heats up like crap.... Â but wut du u think i should trust... the PC probe or the Bios for the heat of the CPU??
TypicalSloan Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 i would trust the bios more, mine a7n8x del reads 2-3 deg celcius lower than pc probe does.
Raife Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 Something to keep in mind is when you are in the bios the CPU is not being taxed hardly at all - so of course it is going to read lower than PC Probe (which reads tempatures after loading and running the OS and all the other background apps)
justinal Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 so add a degree or 2 when your in the bios
Byrner Posted June 11, 2003 Posted June 11, 2003 (edited) i would say i depends on the heatsink. I have a huge heatsink(its hot in my upstairs room) and if i reboot by the time i get to the bios my temp has dropped 10 degees. if you dont mind the noise i recommend my heatsink, coolmaster 6000rpm,under-rated(very noisy). In my hot room i go from 50c (graphic intense games ) down to upper 30s in a matter of seconds after I am through playing Edited June 11, 2003 by Byrner
