CPC is Command Per Clock

it is enabled by default on 11/27/2003 bios

you have to use later bios to enable/disable in bios (6/19 or later are best, but I still use 11/27/2003 bios and can crank the hell out of 2x256MB modules, and get very good clocks on 2x512MB modules.)

disabling this can give a bigger overclock, but the debate has always been that you cannot clock the FSB+Multi high enough to overcome the penalties in performance incurred by disabling it.

ie usually 230x11 @ CPC on

will outperform 260x10 @ CPC off

etc

i always leave CPC on
