spdiscus Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 After playing with BIOS settings all evening, I now have super-speed .wav files (XP Login/Logout): high pitched and half as long. Does anyone know how I could remedy this?
spdiscus Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Somewhere along the way, the BIOS gave out on me. A few hours after the sound thing started, my BIOS temps all dropped to -128 degrees. I re-flashed to the 2/18 and the temp and sound issues are both fixed. Thanks. If anyone has tips on how to prevent future BIOS failures, I'd like to hear. All I did was mess with RAM timings (resulting in about 20-30 reboots and 10-20 failed boots).
