Serious Problem with ULTRA-D..HELP!

Recommended Posts

I have a butt load of partitions myself.

Here's a go from irc, I'll go in a blank chan real quicky.

HD: [C:] 0.01/1.01 GB [D:] 2.47/4.00 GB [E:] 1.44/2.00 GB [F:] 1.12/2.00 GB [G:] 0.40/2.00 GB [H:] 6.29/20.00 GB [i:] 53.61/104.77 GB [J:] 15.34/87.78 GB

I have 2 hd's, both wd1200jb's.

Both retail (original was oem, and it was doa, never rma'ed it lol).

C is both my startup partition and swap file partition(1 gig swap), fat16 64k cluster size.

I swap it to 32k to boot winme if I need to swap the main part of the bios out for another (orignal.bin module).

D is my temp file partition and fserv stuff, it's a hpfs filesystem hehehe :P.

E, F, and G are my windows partitions, e being winme, f being win2k pro modified sp4, g being win2k3 sp1 rc1. (fat16, 64k)

H is my program file partition (actually h I think in dos). (fat32, 64k)

I is my download partition, and roms (tons of those, not that much though since I'm on dilaup and all)(g on dos) (fat32 64k)

J is my media partition, contains my anime, music, movies and porn of course (I dn what it is in dos) (fat32, 64k)

I'm able to swap out os'es np prob while keeping about everything else intact.

I dn use sys restore, never :P, nor the recycle bin.

If I need to recover, I use winhex and find the headers and doit by hand, I'm just that way ^^.

Do you still have the original motherboard available? If you can get the original system back up and running you can use sysprep(search the forum for the thread) to get it ready for the new mobo.

You can also use another drive to do a windows install then attach your drives to copy the data files over.

Let us know.
