mackgee Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I just finished upgrading my computer with the nf3 250gb mobo, and the only problem I have run into is my center channel is not working. When I run though the speaker wizard setup in the NVMIXER application when it tests the individual speakers all have the proper "fuzz" noise except the center. The center is a high pitch whine. The subwoofer works fine, and they are run via the same plug. Once the speaker wizard is complete I get no sound from my center channel, but all other channels work fine. Any help is appreciated. cyberfossil Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 the "whine" from the speaker test is normal and you would usually only get sound from the center when someone is speaking in a movie or some games. did you make sure the center speaker volume slider is moved up? FryMAN Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Well you could always disable onboard sound like I did and put in the sound blaster audigy or similar I thought the onboard sound worked pretty good though but I had problems with winamp only playing on 2 speakers, but when I put in the audigy I never had that issue.
