Guest Down1oader Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 ok my previous thread has been sorted and i have now installed xp, BUT whenever i try to install directx9c off the dfi disk it says something about windows not being able to copy unsigned drivers then it says installation failed on dricetx9c. i try to now install the nf4 chipset drivers and it says i need dx9c so i cant do that, while in windows the computer randomly restarts itself especially when im doing something. So far ive only been able to install the ethernet drivers and the usb 2 drivers, nothing else works and my pc keeps restarting! memory is fine single and dual channel memtest is built into bios 209. in bios i have only changed usb mouse support on ac97 disabled dram 200mhz vdimm 2.9 boot logo disabled everything in my sig is in! oh and after the pc restarts i have one of those error reporting windows saying its recovered from a critical error. whats it gonna take to get this system working i never had a single problem with all my intel systems
Guest Down1oader Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 forgot to also mention it says executable is corrupt on any exe i double clicked I seem to have fixed it now though, after messing the bios settings i found just by changing vdimm to 2.8v instead and having smart hdd off it started working! hopefully a fully working bios will be out soon so we dont have to go through all of this!
