Gear Junkie Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Does anyone know of a DOS-based CPU stress testing utility? (Basically, I'm looking for a CPU version of Memtest86.) I've heard that both Memtest86+ and CPUTEST were supposed to be built into the NF4 BIOS, so I did a bunch of searches for CPUTEST, but came back empty handed. I've read a lot of similar topics on this subject lately, but no one has posted any info on where to download this 'CPUTEST'. Maarek_Stele Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 You can also use the bootable prime95 (23.9). Default it will run a blend test, but you can manually stop and run another. http://www.mersenneforum.org/zip/mmdisk-1.3.zip You can use Nero to burn that image to a bootable cd, or use raw write to put it on a floppy.
